Itinerary
Your 3-day southern Sri Lanka adventure begins with a pick-up from Colombo or Bandaranaike International Airport. From there, you will travel south along the picturesque coastal road towards Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage city with a rich colonial history.
Upon arrival, explore the Galle Fort, a historical fortress built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later expanded by the Dutch. Take a walk through the charming streets, lined with colonial-era buildings, cafes, and boutique shops. You’ll also visit the Galle Lighthouse, which stands as a symbol of the city’s maritime heritage, and the Dutch Reformed Church, one of the oldest churches in Sri Lanka.
After your tour of Galle Fort, you can relax by the beach or enjoy some leisure time in the city. Overnight stay in Galle.

On the second day, start your day with a scenic drive to Mirissa, one of Sri Lanka’s most popular beach destinations. Here, you will have the chance to relax on the golden sands, swim in the turquoise waters, and enjoy the laid-back beach atmosphere. Mirissa is also famous for its whale watching (seasonal), so if you’re visiting between November and April, we can arrange a whale-watching excursion.
After some beach time, continue your journey to Bentota, a renowned beach resort area on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. You can spend your afternoon relaxing on the beautiful beaches or participate in water activities such as jet skiing, snorkeling, or river cruises along the Bentota River.
Enjoy a peaceful evening by the beach, followed by an overnight stay in Bentota.

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the beach in Bentota before heading back to Colombo. Along the way, you can stop at a few interesting spots, such as the Brief Garden or Lunuganga Estate—former homes of famous Sri Lankan artists, known for their stunning landscapes and artistic design.
Once in Colombo, you’ll have time for a brief city tour, including Galle Face Green, Pettah Market, and a visit to Gangaramaya Temple, a beautiful Buddhist temple with both modern and traditional architecture. Finally, your driver will drop you off at Colombo or Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
