Terms and Conditions – Sri Lanka Excursion

1. Changing Tour Dates

The tour start date will remain as agreed upon in the tour confirmation. If accommodation has been booked by Sri Lanka Excursion, the tour start date or other dates cannot be changed under any circumstances.
Guests may adjust the tour duration after confirmation under the following conditions:
- If accommodation was booked by Sri Lanka Excursion, the selected dates cannot be altered.
- Guests may extend their tour beyond the confirmed dates; however, Sri Lanka Excursion does not guarantee responsibility for booking additional accommodation.
- If accommodation was booked by the guest themselves, Sri Lanka Excursion can adjust the tour based on the guest’s request.
- Sri Lanka Excursion advises against changing the tour start date by more than one week before or after the originally agreed date.

2. Changing Accommodation

If accommodation has been arranged by Sri Lanka Excursion, the number of guests confirmed cannot be altered due to the inability to modify hotel reservations, particularly during peak seasons.
Accommodation arrangements will follow the agreed Bed & Breakfast (BB) or other requested suite types as per the guest’s preferences.
If the guest agrees to bear the financial consequences of changing pre-booked accommodation, Sri Lanka Excursion may consider amendments to the itinerary.

3. Vehicle and Driver

Sri Lanka Excursion will provide an air-conditioned vehicle for all tours.
The type of vehicle can be adjusted according to the guest’s request, subject to availability.
An English-speaking driver will accompany the guests throughout the journey.
All expenses related to the vehicle, including driver’s salary, fuel charges, and parking fees, will be covered by Sri Lanka Excursion.

4. Tour Agreement Procedure

Upon receiving the guest’s initial request, Sri Lanka Excursion will prepare a detailed tour plan and provide a quotation, including options for:
- Accommodation included or excluded
- Site tickets included or excluded
Once the guest agrees to the quotation, Sri Lanka Excursion will send a tour agreement via email, outlining the agreed itinerary, costs, and terms and conditions.
The tour is confirmed once the guest agrees to the terms and conditions and makes the advance payment as specified in the agreement.

5. Cancellation Process

Guests may cancel their tour under the following conditions:
- More than 30 days before the arrival date: 100% refund of the advance payment.
- 21 to 30 days before the arrival date: 75% refund of the advance payment.
- 16 to 20 days before the arrival date: 50% refund of the advance payment.
- Less than 15 days before the arrival date: No refund of the advance payment.
If Sri Lanka Excursion has already paid for accommodation, the advance payment will not be refunded, as Sri Lankan hotels typically do not return booking advance payments.
Bank wire transfer fees and applicable taxes will be deducted during the refund process.

6. Recommendations

Sri Lanka Excursion recommends purchasing site tickets independently to ensure flexibility and convenience during the tour.
